Lomografi adalah sebuah bagian dari fotografi analog yang menggunakan kamera khusus yang disebut dengan kamera LOMO. LOMO sendiri merupakan singkatan dari Leningradskoye Optiko-Mechanichesckoye Obyedinenie (Penggabungan Mekanis Optik Leningrad). Nama tersebut merupakan sebuah pabrik lensa yang berada di St. Petersburg, Rusia. Pabrik tersebut memproduksi lensa untuk alat-alat kesehatan seperti lensa mikroskop, alat-alat persenjataan, dan lensa kamera. Di Austria, pabrik tersebut menjadi inspirasi bagi sebuah merek dagang komersil untuk produk-produk yang berkaitan dengan fotografi. Merek dagang tersebut bernama Lomographische AG. Kamera lomografi masih menggunakan film gulunganalog sedangkan fotografi modern sudah menggunakan teknologi digitalgambar maupun pengolahannya. Orang-orang yang menyukai lomografi dan yang suka mengambil foto menggunakan kamera LOMO disebut sebagai "lomografer". sehingga disebut sebagai fotografi dalam pengambilan

Sejarah

Awal mula lomografi dimulai ketika seseorang yang bernama Michail Panfilowitsch Panfiloff meneliti sebuah kamera yang diperolehnya.^[1] Michail merupakan salah satu tokoh terpenting dalam LOMO Russian Arms and Opticalpabrik senjata dan alat-alat optik Uni Soviet. Kamera yang menarik perhatiannya itu didapatkannya dari Jenderal Igor Petrowitsch Kornitzky yaitu orang kepercayaan Menteri Pertahanan dan Industri Uni Soviet. Kamera tersebut adalah Cosina CX-1 yang berasal dari Jepang. Dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan tahun 1982 tersebut, mereka akhirnya menyepakati untuk meniru dan mengembangkan desain kamera tersebut untuk kemudian diproduksi bagi warga Uni Soviet. Tiruan kamera Jepang itu pun mereka namakan Lomo Kompakt Automat yang juga dikenal dengan nama Lomo LC-A. Cita-cita mereka untuk memproduksi kamera tersebut dalam kuantitas yang besar baru tercapai dua tahun kemudian. Pada awal produksi sebanyak 1100 unit kamera dibuat setiap bulannya hanya untuk pasar di Uni Soviet. Tak lama kemudian, kamera ini sudah diekspor ke negara-negara komunis lain seperti Ukraina, Polandia, Ceko dan Kuba.^[1] yaitu

Namun, produksi kamera tersebut berangsur-angsur lemah hingga ditemukan kembali pada 1991 oleh dua orang mahasiswa di Wina, Austria yaitu Matthias Fiegl dan Wolfgang Stranzinger.^{[2] [1]} Mereka kemudian menggunakan kamera tersebut untuk mengambil gambar di kota Praha dengan cara yang tidak umum.^[1] Mereka mencoba untuk mengambil gambar sebanyak-banyaknya dari posisi yang tidak biasa seperti dari pinggul dan melewati kaki.^[1] Selain itu, mereka juga memproduksi kamera yang mereka gunakan dan menjualnya dengan harga yang lebih murah dibandingkan dengan kamera lainnya.^[3][2] Sebuah klub pencinta lomografi pun dibentukdi Wina dan diberi nama Lomographische Gesellschaftkomunitas inilah kemudian berbagai pameran lomografi berhasil dilaksanakan di kota-kota besar seperti St. Petersburg, Wina, Moskow, New York, Berlin, Havana, Zurich, Cologne, Madrid, Kairo dan Tokyo.^[2] Lomografi kemudian mulai berkembang dengan pesat setelah kedua mahasiswa tersebut gencar mempromosikan lomografi kepada teman, kerabat, keluarga bahkan orang yang tidak mereka kenal. atau "Komunitas Lomografi". Karena sedikitnya persediaan kamera Lomo saat itu, maka Fiegl dan Stranzinger mengunjungi pabrik LOMO di St. Petersburg. Mereka kemudian berhasil meyakinkan kepala pabrik dan wakil walikota St. Petersburg waktu itu yaitu Vladimir Putin untuk memproduksi kembali kamera Lomo LC-A dalam jumlah yang besar.^[1]

Teknik lomografi

Sesuai dengan apa yang dilakukan oleh kedua orang pelopornya, maka lomografi sekarang berkembang menjadi teknik fotografi yang mengabaikan aturan-aturan yang ada. Dalam teknik fotografi konvensional, banyak aturan baku yang harus dipatuhi seperti kecepatan rana, ISO, dan bukaan lensa untuk menciptakan sebuah foto yang baik. Sementara itu dalam lomografi aturan-aturan tersebut cenderung untuk diabaikan. Lomografi lebih menekankan untuk menghasilkan foto-foto yang unik sehingga hasilnya pun subyektif.

Aturan emas

Komunitas Lomografi merumuskan 10 aturan emas (golden rules) bagi orang-orang yang ingin mengambil gambar menggunakan kamera lomografi. Aturan tersebut adalah:
1. Take your LOMO everywhere you go.
Bawalah kamera Lomo anda kemanapun anda pergi, karena dimana pun anda dapat menemukan obyek foto yang tak terduga.
2. Use it anytime - day or night.
Pakailah kamera Lomo anda tanpa batas. Pakai kamera Lomo anda baik siang maupun malam, kapan saja di berbagai situasi dan kondisi.
3. Lomography is not an interference in your life, but a part of it.
Jadikanlah Lomografi sebagai bagian dari diri anda dan nikmatilah waktu anda memotret suatu obyek dengan kamera Lomo.
4. Shoot from the hip.
5. Approach the objects of your lomographic desire as close as possible.
Dekati obyek foto anda sedekat mungkin selain karena kamera Lomo umumnya tidak ada zoom, harus ada feel tersendiri antara anda dengan obyek foto.
6. Don't think.
Jangan berpikir, gunakan hati dan penglihatan anda.
7. Be fast.
Cepat dalam memotret suatu obyek foto, anda tidak perlu banyak berpikir/berteknik.
8. You don't have to know beforehand what you've captured on film.
Anda tidak perlu terlalu memikirkan gambar seperti apa yang akan anda ambil.
9. You don't have to know afterwards, either.
Anda juga tidak perlu memikirkan bagaimana hasil dari gambar yang telah anda ambil.
10. Don't worry about the rules.
Jangan khawatir tentang aturan-aturan fotografi dan jangan terlalu memikirkannya saat anda menggunakan kamera Lomo.

Jenis-jenis kamera lomografi

Lomographic ActionSampler

ActionSampler.

Kamera ActionSampler akan menghasilkan foto yang terbagi menjadi empat bagian (dua diatas dan dua dibawah) dalam satu kertas foto.

Lomographic Colorsplash Camera

Hasil foto dengan menggunakan kamera jenis colorsplash akan bermain dengan warna. Warna yang tampil difoto belum tentu sesuai dengan warna asli. Kamera ini seringkali digunakan untuk acara di malam hari.

Lomographic Fisheye Camera

Kamera saku dengan lensa mata ikan (fisheye). Cakupan pandangan 170 derajat. Hasil foto berbentuk bulat seperti mata ikan.

Kamera LOMO FISHEYE ada 2 jenis, yang tipe pertama atau sering disebut fisheye1, dana tipe kedua atau sering disebut fisheye2. Beda dari 2 tipe ini adalah, yang tipe kedua viewfindernya sudah cembung, jadi kita dapat tahu bagaimana hasil gambarnya. Dan juga sudah dibekali dengan mode Bulb dan Multiple Exposure.

Lomographic Frogeye Underwater

Kamera ini tetap dapat digunakan meski di dalam kolam renang/air tanpa casing khusus. Itu sebabnya kamera jenis ini disebut frogeye atau mata katak. Kamera ini sekarang tidak diproduksi lagi (dead stock).

Lomographic SuperSampler

Kamera ini mirip dengan ActionSampler karena kedua kamera tersebut sama-sama menghasilkan foto yang terbagi menjadi empat bagian dalam satu kertas. Namun, hasil dari kamera SuperSampler terbagi menjadi bagian-bagian yang memanjang atau horisontal ataupun vertikal.

Lomographic Oktomat

Dalam 1 kali jepret akan tampil menjadi 8 foto kecil dalam 1 foto.

Lomographic Pop 9

Selamat Hari Raya Idul Adha

idul adha without my famz, yups, itu lebih tepatnya sebagai judul.

ini baru pertama kalinya gw ngerayain idul adha tanpa bokap, nyokap n adik gw. hanya bersama teman teman kost. rasanya sedih banget, tapi ya sudahlah... (gitu katanya si bondan.hehehe...)

rencananya sih gw ama temen2 kost mau sholat di masjid gede unair, tp ketika perjalanan berubah haluan ke masjid dekat kost. kata temen gw sih "sini aja yang deket". ya udah gw sih nurut2 ajah.

dan acara selanjutnya adalah MENGANGGUR. kita g ada kerjaan sama sekali. so bored time. untungnya sepupu gw datang dan ngajakin ke tempat pakdhe. ya udah kita langsung meluncur kesana. 

sesampai disana ternyata sepi banget. hanya ada kakak sepupu gw, mas galung, budhe, dan pakdhe. biasanya sih rameee banget. ada mas rambo dan ce lilik. eh, secara tiba2 ada yang nganterin daging kurban. bingung mo diolah apaan dan dalam keadaan pembantu pulang kampung. yaudah akhirnya gw, mas galung, spupu gw, dan kroni2nya si mas galung mengerahkan tenaga untuk mengolahnya.

bakar membakar selesai, semuanya pada makan tuh daging. gw ama mas galung hanya melihatnya, karena gw g suka daging kambing dan mas galung adalah vegetarian.

tapi yg bikin gw terharu adalah, mas galung bikinin gw mie. sumpah seumur2 baru satu kali dy masakin gw.

The Social Network: ‘Zuckerberg’s assholishness’

“As I was waiting for my friends to arrive at the movie theater for the 7:00 showing of The Social Network, the newly released film chronicling the early years of Mark Zuckerberg’s rise as the co-founder of Facebook, I accidentally got the zipper pull on my sweatshirt stuck in the mesh of the bench I was sitting on”, writes Jenna McWilliams in her making edible playdough is hegemonic blog.
“I found this out when I stood up, felt the pull and heard a metallic *pop*”, she says. “That was the last unexpected thing that happened within my field of vision for the next two and a half hours”, going on >>>

 

This film centers around a pair of lawsuits filed against Zuckerberg, played with great subtlety and nuance by Jesse Eisenberg, for copyright infringement, intellectual property theft, and an extremely vaguely described allegation by Facebook co-founder and former Chief Financial Officer Eduardo Saverin that he was cheated out of his share of rights to the site. Guess what — Zuckerberg turns out to act like sort of an asshole, both in real life and in the movie.

If you follow social media or business news, you probably knew about his reputation for dick moves in real life. In the movie, you’re notified of Zuckerberg’s assholishness in the opening scene when he launches into a horribly dickish tirade to his girlfriend about elitism, his desire to get accepted into one of Harvard’s exclusive clubs, and his struggle with distinguishing himself from his Harvard classmates despite scoring a perfect 1600 on the SAT. (The girlfriend is surprised here: “Does that mean you didn’t get anything wrong?” she asks. It’s hard to believe, incidentally, that the movie version of Zuckerberg wouldn’t have informed his girlfriend of his perfect score long before this point — as in, during the opening minutes of their first date.)

The rest of the movie is a confirmation of what the first five minutes establish: That Mark Zuckerberg–the film version of him, at least — is indeed an asshole, and that his behavior is the result of a deep need to be accepted, admired, and respected. At the risk of tossing in a spoiler, every time Zuckerberg is presented with a choice between doing the right thing and making a dick move, he chooses the dick move. Every. Single. Time.

By the end of the film, Zuckerberg isn’t a more complex, more nuanced, or more tragic asshole; he’s just the exact same asshole who would brag about his perfect SAT score to his girlfriend, except with more money this time.

But don’t worry, because there are many other things to learn from this film! It turns out that nerds are people, too! And that nerds with ambitions toward world domination want the same thing that ambitious non-nerds want: Respect, power, and girls! I know — surprising, right? The Social Network is just filled with surprises exactly like this!

That the film refuses to surprise us, either with its characters or with the narrative itself, is fairly disappointing. There is, after all, a nice social critique to be made of the fact that Zuckerberg and his archrivals, the more privileged, wealthier, and better connected Winklevoss twins, orient to peers and authority figures with approximately the same degree of entitlement. It’s just that the Winklevosses wear their entitlement as if it were the skin they were born in, whereas Zuckerberg — mousy, awkward, unconnected Zuckerberg — has to constantly insist, in word and deed, upon his right to have everything he wants handed directly to him.

That Zuckerberg ends up looking like the asshole while the Winklevosses end up looking like some combination of self-righteous, misguided and spoiled — well, that’s arguably at least partially the fault of a culture that uses class, education, and physical appearance to distinguish between confidence and arrogance.

Alas, this is a critique left unexplored in The Social Network, which instead spends its time showing off its witty dialogue, era-appropriate technologies, and superb acting. (This is a point mentioned by many other reviewers, but one worth noting here: The acting, by everyone in film, is so good it is simply astonishing.)

A lengthy early scene features Zuckerberg running through the streets of Cambridge, MA, and across the Harvard campus. It’s actually more of a jog than a run, and it’s really not clear why he’s running. Maybe he’s cold and wants to get indoors as quickly as possible; maybe he has a lot of homework to do; maybe he has a new programming idea he wants to try. At one point, as he’s passing a busker playing a violin, Zuckerberg slows to a walk and you think, okay, now something’s going to happen!

But nothing happens. He walks past the violinist, then picks up his pace until he’s running again. When he gets to his dorm he’s not exhausted, he’s not agitated, he’s not excited; he’s not really anything at all. He’s just … done running.

Which makes you wonder: Why in the world did I watch that whole thing? And why, for godsake why, did the filmmakers spend so much time and money putting that together, no matter how lovely and well filmed it is?

“The Social Network is rated PG-13 for sexual content, drug and alcohol use and language”, says Jenna, adding:

“Also, women are treated as nameless receptacles for dicks.”
